Better feedback on audio files: if your browser can't play the file you picked (some formats aren't supported everywhere, especially on iPhone), you now get a clear "format not supported" message instead of silence.
Stability fix: squashed a rare crash where the visualizer could go down for good after a graphics-driver hiccup instead of recovering. If your GPU blinks, the show goes on now.
Big under-the-hood update: the rendering engine (three.js) and the rest of the stack got a major upgrade, and with it a fix for saved presets suddenly glowing way too bloomy. Also, in-app video export is on the way; you can join the waitlist right in the app.
vizz.fm has an Instagram and a YouTube now, links are down in the footer. That's where visualizer clips will be going up. Also gave the contact links a cleaner look and fixed a couple of focus outline glitches on the feedback form.
New post-processing effects: Bokeh Blur, Directional Blur, Reflection, and LED Screen. The ASCII effect gets an LED Dots charset, and Gradient Map picks up 9 new palettes with the Colors slider now working on named ones. Blur sampling got a big quality upgrade too.
A quick under-the-hood rendering tune-up, nothing new to see. More soon.
You can now undo and redo your control tweaks with cmd+z / cmd+shift+z. Went too far down a slider rabbit hole? Just rewind. Also squashed a couple of bugs around presets and shortcuts. Happy visualizing ποΈ
Small polish: the homepage got a little glow-up. There's now a live visualizer loop playing mid-page, and the landing cards look brighter on mobile. Nothing new to learn, just prettier. Go feed it a song.
Rain! Two fresh effects (Pond Ripple and Raindrops), Mesh Grid can now wrap into a sphere and flow like a waterfall, the Textured Sphere grew continents, and there's a big batch of new presets. It all runs smoother too.
Switching between visualizers is snappier now, no more little hang when you jump to a new one. Plus some polish and bug fixes under the hood, including smoother behavior when the site is opened inside other apps.
A small quality-of-life update: there's now a filter box above the controls so you can jump straight to the setting you want, folder headers stay pinned as you scroll, and the sensitivity slider is clearer. Tweak your visuals with a lot less scrolling.
Small polish update: the on-screen controls now render in a crisper, more legible font on Windows, plus a fix for a sticky tooltip in the pop-out controls window.
Found a preset you like? You can now share it with a link. Whoever opens it lands right on that look, ready to play. Plus a clearer heads-up for Firefox folks that screen-share audio capture won't work there yet, and some tidier buttons.
Capturing your computer's audio now comes with a quick visual walkthrough before you share your screen, so getting sound into the visualizer is way less confusing. Also, Dither Pulse Ring has a new name: Topological. Plus a handful of little polish fixes and a fix so popups stack right.
Capturing your computer's audio just got way easier. Pick System audio, share your screen, and whatever you're playing (Spotify, YouTube, anything) drives the visuals. No extra software, no virtual audio device setup. It just works.
Fresh preset variants to play with, plus a fix for the sidebar getting clipped on some screens.
New visualizer just dropped. Light Fall sends glowing streams cascading through space, bending and drifting with your music. Also fixed camera reset snapping to the wrong spot, and preset saving got more reliable.
The audio source row got a glow-up. See what's playing with friendly labels, a progress bar, play/pause, a live level meter, and one-click disconnect. You can also name your saved variants now and share them with a link. Plus a new floating dust background.
You can now pop the controls out into their own window. Tweak your visuals on one screen while the visualizer runs fullscreen on another.
New post-processing effects you can layer on any visualizer. Audio capture got smoother, with a visual indicator when it locks onto your music. And the cursor now hides itself in fullscreen so nothing gets between you and the visuals.
There's now a feedback form on the site, so if something bugs you or you have an idea, tell me. Also fixed a volume-range bug and made images load faster.
